Fusion, Glasgow

This project located in the heart of Glasgow city centre, incorporates the retained façade of former Victorian offices and warehousing. The site spans the full width of a city block diagonally opposite Central Station and was designed to create a new east / west gated pedestrian route linking the station and the city centre with the International Financial District on the Clyde Broomielaw to the west.

201 new apartments are provided within six adjoining blocks which each respond in overall height and through their material treatment (sandstone / zinc / render / terracotta tiles) to their location within the site and to their adjoining neighbours, which include the A-listed Clydeport building on Robertson Street.
